Volunteer Opportunities
De La Salle is unique in that parents do not have to meet a minimum requirement for volunteer hours. We know that, when we need help, our parents step up to volunteer
The 家长协会 co-hosts the following Family Class Events with the President's Cabinet and 校园部:
- New Student/Parent Welcome and BBQ (协调下 Sophomore parent volunteers)
- Sophomore Class Liturgy and Dinner (协调下 Freshman parent volunteers)
- Junior Mass of Unity (Ring and Gift Ceremony) (协调下 高级 parent volunteers)
- 高级 Mother and Son Liturgy & 早午餐(协调下 Junior parent volunteers)
父母 might also be asked to volunteer at these events for the Academic, 校友, and Campus Life teams:
- Athletic Department: 支持 for various games and events.
- A Taste of De La Salle - September 14, 2023: This is a delightful evening full of food, 酒, 和社区, with efforts benefiting co-curricular activities. The event features tastings from fine 酒ries in Napa, 利弗莫尔, and Central Valley and delicious food samplings from some of the top restaurants in the area. This event requires volunteers to assist with securing food and 酒 vendors, 登记, day of set up and clean up.
- De La Salle 高尔夫球 Classic - October 16, 2023: Held at the Diablo Country Club, volunteers are needed to help recruit sponsors and players and to assist with day of event 物流. 多年来, the De La Salle 高尔夫球 Classic has raised significant funds for financial aid benefiting students in need.
- 蟹饲料 - January 27, 2024: There are so many opportunities the weekend of the 蟹饲料, from set-up, to day-of, to clean-up. 请浏览我们的 螃蟹饲料页 for more information.
- 德拉萨拍卖会 - May 4, 2024: 肯尼斯·H. Hofmann Student Center will be transformed for a night of dining, 跳舞, and spirited bidding in support of our school’s premier fundraiser benefiting student programs. This event requires volunteers to assist with decor, 物流, 礼品收购, sponsorship recruitment, 和更多的. Planning will begin in October. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved!
